TED WEILAND JR. offers a 3-year warranty for workmanship, potholes and/or displacement on new driveway installations. We will perform all warranty repairs within 60 days of being notified by you in writing, WEATHER PERMITTING.
When you select TED WEILAND JR. for your job you will be notified in advance of the date that our crew will begin work on your project, WEATHER PERMITTING. Ted Weiland Jr. personally works on your job to ensure our work meet your expectations.
In most instances, our crew will proceed to rip up your old driveway. Your driveway base will consist of 4 to 6 inches of shoulder or quarry processed stone, and will be laid out and leveled to an appropriate base. The base must be allowed to settle for approximately 10 to 14 days. During this period, you are encouraged to drive and park on your driveway as you normally do. This enables the high-traffic areas to compact naturally as these are the areas that tend to wear out. When the driveway has settled, you will be notified of our planned work schedule, WEATHER PERMITTING. Upon our crews' arrival, we will do a final grade of your driveway, compact the base with a heavy roller, and apply 2 ½ inches of hot FABC asphalt. We request that you leave your garage door unlocked with about 6 feet of cleared space in front. We also need the use of a water spigot and hose. Our crews’ foreman will give you our "Driveways Care and Maintenance" sheet at the completion of the job.
